Responsibilities
- Report, guide, and advise NVIDIA Jetson & DRIVE marketing teams to boost customer engagement using competitive data analysis and set the industry performance bar for Embedded & Automotive applications.
- Develop, run, and automate performance and power benchmarks across Jetson, DRIVE, and competitive platforms in both manual and CI environments.
- Configure lab systems and DUTs, including wiring to power measurement equipment (e.g., Agilent/NI DAQs) and preparing software stacks.
- Develop, scale, and maintain benchmarking and test automation tools; integrate third-party tools into the software infrastructure.
- Compile, configure, and validate Embedded and Automotive AI frameworks and SDKs; integrate and debug within an evolving test infrastructure.
- Analyze benchmark data, build dashboards/visualizations, and deliver clear reports and guidance to engineering and marketing teams.
- Identify, triage, and resolve performance/power bottlenecks with Edge AI software/hardware and product teams; tune systems for maximum efficiency.
- Translate customer requirements into test plans and methodologies; supply insights that influence next-gen SoC and toolchain design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience in a technical field).
- 2+ years of significant industry experience (performance engineering and software development preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux (debugging and configuring) and proficiency in compiling software from source.
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in a scripting language such as Python and/or Unix Shell.
- Background with performance/power testing or optimizations.
- Experience with lab equipment such as DMMs, Agilent DAQs, National Instrument DAQs.
- Knowledge of benchmarking fundamentals, performance analysis, and data comparisons.
- Familiarity with writing technical reports, data analysis, and comparison charts.
Ways to stand out (preferred)
- Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU products and technologies.
- Experience using GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Torch, TensorRT, or TensorFlow.
- Comprehension of CUDA, cuDNN, OpenCL, or other GPU/Graphics libraries.
- Proven understanding of JETSON, DRIVE, Embedded systems, SoCs, or ASICs.
Compensation & Benefits
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits (see https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/benefits/).
