Details

NVIDIA is accepting applications for 2026 Graphics and Simulation focused Research Internships. By submitting your resume you express interest in one of the internship opportunities; resumes are reviewed on an ongoing basis and a recruiter may reach out if your experience fits. These internships provide hands-on research experience with NVIDIA's Graphics and Simulation teams working on problems across gaming, robotics, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, climate, virtual worlds, and related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop algorithms, hardware, and software that advance the state of the art in computing, graphics, media processing, and other technologies central to NVIDIA’s business.
  • Invent new techniques, technologies, methodologies, processes, and devices; deliverable results may include prototypes, patents, publications, and products.
  • Collaborate with other team members, teams, and/or external researchers.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Depending on the internship, prior experience or knowledge could include programming skills and technologies such as: Python, C, CUDA, HLSL/GLSL, and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, Warp).
  • Strong background in research with publications at top conferences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with large-scale model training is a plus.
