NVIDIA is accepting applications for 2026 Graphics and Simulation focused Research Internships. These internships provide hands-on research experience with NVIDIA's Graphics and Simulation teams working on problems across gaming, robotics, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, climate, virtual worlds, and related industries.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms, hardware, and software that advance the state of the art in computing, graphics, media processing, and other technologies central to NVIDIAβs business.
 - Invent new techniques, technologies, methodologies, processes, and devices; deliverable results may include prototypes, patents, publications, and products.
 - Collaborate with other team members, teams, and/or external researchers.
 
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
 - Depending on the internship, prior experience or knowledge could include programming skills and technologies such as: Python, C, CUDA, HLSL/GLSL, and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, Warp).
 - Strong background in research with publications at top conferences.
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 - Experience with large-scale model training is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
- Internship hourly rates: 30 USD - 94 USD (standard pay based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience).
