We’re building a safe, fair, and trusted marketplace where millions of people can buy and sell with confidence. As Policy Team Lead, you’ll own the design and evolution of the rules that keep our community thriving. You’ll make sure our policies are clear, consistent, and scalable as we grow across markets. You’ll lead a team of policy managers, balancing user needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements..

In this position, you’ll

• Lead & grow a team of policy managers - setting goals, guiding priorities, and supporting policy development
• Define marketplace rules across items, interactions, and behavior - keeping them clear, fair, and enforceable
• Spot risks early (fraud, harmful content, regulatory shifts, media attention) and translate them into smart, proactive policy updates
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Trust & Safety, Product, and Comms to ensure rules are clear, consistently applied, and backed by the right policies and team structure
• Monitor effectiveness: track how policies perform in practice, identify gaps, and iterate.

About you

For this position, we're looking for

• Commercial experience in marketplace policy development
• Proven strategy skills and experience in building and scaling teams in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Team leadership experience - you know how to guide, coach, and grow people
• Strong analytical skills: you can balance risk, fairness, and commercial realities
• Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex policies in plain language
• Pragmatism: you know perfect rules don’t exist, but smart trade-offs do
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and moving quickly when issues arise

The salary range for this position is € 4,275 - € 5,792 gross per month.
