The Ads Measurement Org enhances the efficiency and user-friendliness of Reddit's advertising platform, focusing on off-platform conversion signals ingestion, identity resolution, ads attribution, ads reporting, and providing high-quality data for machine learning models.
Responsibilities
- Understand current and future business states, converting business problems into engineering solutions.
- Define the long-term technical vision and strategy for Ads Measurement for the next 2+ years.
- Lead large cross-functional projects end to end, from concept, design, implementation to rollout, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Identify top opportunities to improve Ads performance by analyzing platform priorities, advertiser needs, and downstream consumers of measurement data.
- Design and develop advanced products and solutions for Ads Measurement that improve data quality and integrate with downstream consumers, including modeling teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional leaders, data scientists, backend and full-stack software engineers, and machine learning engineers.
- Mentor staff engineers and leaders, share industry knowledge, and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Stay updated on state-of-the-art products and techniques, adapt innovations to Reddit's unique platform and community.
Requirements
- Technical leader capable of creating and aligning on Measurement vision at Ads Org level for at least 2+ years.
- Advocate for Ads performance, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, privacy, legal, and others.
- Expert in Ads Measurement products and technologies such as Pixel, Conversions API, Event Deduplication, Events Manager, Signal Quality, Identity Resolution, and Ads Attribution.
- Experience spans multiple Ads domains including Optimization, Delivery, Targeting, Ranking, Bidding, and Reporting.
- Ability to build measurement solutions with end-to-end impact across the entire Ads system and drive downstream adoption.
- Familiarity with Ads privacy challenges (GDPR, CCPA, ePD, ATT) and ability to deliver high Ads performance while respecting privacy constraints.
- Strong understanding of industry trends with a proven track record of driving high ad performance despite evolving privacy constraints.
- Individual contributor capable of designing, implementing, testing, and launching complex product and infrastructure changes across Ads stack.
- Ability to deliver through others as well as hands-on work.
