As a Principal Software Engineer within the Developer Experience Software Engineering team, you will lead design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art solutions that propel NVIDIA's internal products forward, influencing AI Inference Services, Agentic AI frameworks and Engineering Apps.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design, development, and adoption of exceptionally complex, company-wide software projects to drive transformative business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish and implement technology strategies aligned with NVIDIA's Developer Experience objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guide cross-functional teams in developing innovative, patent-worthy solutions.
  • Define project scopes, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain broad, company-wide influence, driving adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps for internal products and Enterprise AI services.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • 15+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of leading complex, high-impact projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and developing scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions.
  • Demonstrated use of AI for coding, designing, planning, and execution.
  • Strong business insight, combining technical and business viewpoints to achieve strategic results.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages; proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, React, NodeJS, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI and Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Background with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 248,000 USD - 391,000 USD (determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
