The International Team expands Coinbase products across countries and partners closely with Product and Engineering. The Design team tackles complex UX problems to deliver delightful, easy-to-use products for large crypto user bases and entirely new ecosystem features.

You will be the Product Designer for Coinbase across Canada, contributing to product improvements, marketing campaigns, market research, and ensuring compliance within local regulatory contexts. The role is remote-first with required in-person participation at times (team and company offsites and periodic in-person collaboration).

Responsibilities

• Work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience.
• Take new features from ideation to prototyping, user testing, and production.
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive.
• Participate in regular design reviews, seek and incorporate feedback.
• Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, User Research, and Product teams.
• Improve localization and cultural fit of product experiences for the Canadian market.
• Work with onboarding teams to design compliant, user-friendly onboarding flows tailored to country-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with payments teams and country pods to ensure relevant, preferred, and usable payment rails.
• Design marketing and incentive campaigns (referrals, new user incentives, CRM campaigns) and work with illustrators or create illustrations to support campaigns.
• Assist with market research and competitive analysis, run user testing and research sessions, document results and opportunities.
• Produce compliant yet delightful UX solutions that respond quickly to regulatory changes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional product design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile.
• Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication.
• Experience working collaboratively with engineers, user researchers, and product teams.
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Low ego, collaborative, and open-minded approach to feedback.

• Interest in crypto or financial products.
• Existing user of Coinbase products.

Pay and other details

• Pay Range (target annual salary): $154,000 — $154,000 CAD. Full-time offers may include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
