Product Designer II - Platform

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. The Platform Design and Research team plays a critical role in executing on that vision across the company. As a Product Designer II you will contribute to mission, vision and strategy through a deep understanding of customers and business needs, developing optimal user journeys and building simple, easy-to-use experiences across web and mobile.

This position is remote from the United States or Canada. While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, the company is not remote-only: in-person participation (team and company-wide offsites) is required throughout the year and attendance is expected and supported.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience
• Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive
• Partner with the Design Systems team to document and define scalable design patterns & components
• Participate in regular design reviews to solicit and incorporate feedback
• Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, User Research, and Product

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Product Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
• Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
• Experience working collaboratively with engineers, user researchers, and product teams
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Experience with user testing and iterating on prototypes
• Low ego, collaborative, and open minded
• Interest in crypto or financial products
• Experience with AI tools for prototyping/coding

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $154,000—$154,000 CAD (target annual salary). Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
