Product Designer II - Platform

The team builds secure, trusted, and easy-to-use cryptocurrency products for a wide range of customers. Many roles at Coinbase are remote-first but not remote-only; in-person participation is required throughout the year and attendance at team and company-wide offsites is expected and supported.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience.
• Take new features from ideation to prototyping, user testing, and production.
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive.
• Partner with the Design Systems team to document and define scalable design patterns and components.
• Participate in regular design reviews, seek and incorporate feedback.
• Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, User Research, and Product teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Product Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile.
• Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication.
• Experience working collaboratively with engineers, user researchers, and product teams.
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Experience with prototyping and user testing workflows.
• Low ego, collaborative, and open minded.
• Interest in crypto or financial products.

Pay

• Pay Range: $140,250 — $165,000 USD (target bonus, target equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision and 401(k) are additional components of full-time offers).
