The Design Team is a dynamic, multidisciplinary group of product designers, web designers, UX researchers, UX writers, and graphic designers. We're building the future of digital freedom across cybersecurity suite products such as NordVPN, NordPass, Saily & NordProtect. We aim to simplify the complex world of cybersecurity for everyone, and we thrive on honest feedback, initiative, and bold ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and own: work alongside product owners, engineering, and UX research. Take the lead and be a proactive problem solver without hand-holding.
  • Navigate the unknown: operate in "explore" mode, try out bold ideas and rapidly prototype possible solutions.
  • Build and refine: design thoughtful, scalable solutions for complex systems with meticulous attention to visual and interaction details to craft high-quality, user-friendly experiences.
  • Contribute to the culture: foster a design culture valuing speed, craft, and honest feedback; act as a mentor for other designers and help the team grow.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in product design for mobile and desktop apps, with strong systems thinking skills.
  • Ownership and communication: self-driven with strong communication skills to clearly articulate strategy and solutions to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Technical know-how: experience with Figma, familiarity with modern design systems, and expert-level prototyping skills.
  • Curiosity in AI tools: natural curiosity in using AI tools as part of the design process.
  • Attention to detail: meticulous eye for visual and interaction details to craft high-quality experiences.

Additional (valued):

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities is a strong plus.
  • Understanding how to apply WCAG conformance criteria in design and test for accessibility standards is highly valued.
  • Experience in motion design.

Salary

  • Gross Salary: 3100 - 6000 EUR / Month (see salary fields).

Working arrangement

  • Hybrid (based in Vilnius).
