Product Manager I - Retail Staking

Coinbase is seeking a Product Manager to join the Consumer Staking team responsible for helping ~7M+ customers earn interest on their crypto holdings. The team builds easy-to-use staking products for the Coinbase app and advanced liquid staking products for onchain users. Staking is an area where new concepts and primitives are still being invented.

Responsibilities

• Own all facets of a product area from crafting the vision and strategy to executing.
• Size opportunities, analyze market trends, and identify high-impact real-world use cases for crypto payments and utility.
• Partner with design, engineering, and growth to deliver seamless, frictionless staking experiences that scale globally.
• Develop and execute consumer growth strategies, including referral programs, social growth loops, and network effects.
• Proactively address fraud, risk, and compliance considerations while preserving an excellent user experience.
• Participate in in-person collaboration periodically (team and company offsites are held multiple times annually; attendance expected).

Requirements

• 3+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of shipping consumer products at a global scale.
• Demonstrated product vision and execution: ability to translate bold ideas into delightful, impactful features with measurable results.
• Growth mindset and experience in consumer product growth, especially referral programs, social engagement, or virality.
• Strong user obsession: focus on creating intuitive, trustworthy, and scalable experiences.

Nice to haves

• Experience with DeFi protocols (personally or professionally).
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Eppo, Cursor, etc.
• Crypto-forward experience, including interacting with Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps on networks like Base, Solana, and Lightning.

Pay Transparency

• Target annual salary range: $154,000 — $154,000 USD.
• Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
