Product Manager II - Coinbase Business

The Coinbase Business team is building the primary operating account for businesses transacting onchain. We empower companies of all sizes to store, trade, and pay with crypto through a compliant, user-friendly platform. Coinbase Business offers a world-class business payments suite, enabling startups and SMBs to adopt stablecoin payments for invoices, payment links and global payouts while staying compliant with accounting and security.

This role will be foundational to the Coinbase Business product: you will drive development of core features, define product requirements, and partner closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams to deliver an all-in-one platform for businesses to manage crypto finances.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of key features for the Coinbase Business platform, managing the product lifecycle from discovery and specification to launch and iteration.
• Manage a prioritized backlog for critical product areas such as business onboarding, payments, and reporting, ensuring engineering focus on the most impactful work.
• Partner with business customers to deeply understand their needs and translate feedback into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional partners like Risk and Compliance to execute on the product roadmap and deliver a world-class user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of successfully shipping features for B2B SaaS or FinTech products.
• Strategic mindset and strong product sense, able to connect your team's work to broader product vision and business goals.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle; skilled at writing clear specs, managing a backlog, and driving execution.
• Good technical aptitude and ability to work effectively with engineers on complex financial systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to get things done.

Pay Range

• $180,370 — $212,200 USD (target annual salary; full-time offers also include target bonus + benefits)

Additional notes

• While Coinbase is remote-first, roles are not remote-only: in-person participation and attendance at team/company offsites is required throughout the year.
• Job may include assessment of crypto-related experience; AI tools may be used for initial screening interviews and interview-note summarization as pilots (humans will review responses).
