Product Manager II - Consumer

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. This role sits on a high-performing consumer/growth product team focused on building onchain platform experiences and expanding fiat rails. The team is remote-first but not remote-only: in-person participation and attendance at team and company offsites throughout the year is expected and supported.

Responsibilities

• Define and build new solutions and products to manage platform expansion, magnify fiat rails, and own end-to-end consumer retail experiences.
• Work closely with Design and Engineering counterparts to build and launch products.
• Prioritize the roadmap for your charter and drive product decisions toward scalable platform and business outcomes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence and drive successful outcomes.
• Challenge the status quo and push for effective, scalable platform solutions focused on fault tolerance and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager on a high-performing consumer or growth product team at a consumer tech company.
• Strong focus on scalable platform and demonstrable orientation toward business outcomes (revenue generation, business models, external partnerships).
• Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Design and Engineering to launch products.

Nice to have

• Deep excitement about crypto / web3.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or other blockchain-based services.

Interview process notes

• For select roles Coinbase is piloting AI tools (machine learning–based screening interviews and an AI interview intelligence platform) to assist in initial screening and to transcribe/summarize interview notes. Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range (target annual salary, depending on work location): $180,370 — $212,200 USD. Full-time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
