Product Manager II - Institutional Products

At Coinbase we are building the emerging onchain platform and looking for a Product Manager II to define and build solutions that expand our institutional product platform — magnifying fiat rails, supporting alternative payment methods (APMs), building a fault-tolerant platform and owning end-to-end (ETE) payment experiences. This role requires close partnership with Design and Engineering, strong stakeholder management, and a focus on scalable platform and business outcomes. In-person participation is required throughout the year; the company is remote-first but not remote-only and team/company offsites occur multiple times annually.

Responsibilities

• Define and build new solutions and products to manage platform expansion (fiat rails, APMs, fault-tolerant platform capabilities).
• Own end-to-end payment experiences and ensure reliability and scalability of payment flows.
• Work closely with Design and Engineering counterparts to build and launch products.
• Prioritize the roadmap for your charter and make tradeoffs that align with business outcomes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and teams to influence and drive successful outcomes.
• Challenge the status quo and push for new, effective, scalable platform solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with expertise in Risk, Payments or e-Commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA preferred.
• Strong focus on scalable platform and business outcomes.
• Ability to build strategy, prioritize, and deploy innovative solutions with a focus on impact.
• Keen analytical skills and awareness of the latest in payments and FinTech space.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to add value to the team.
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology and Coinbase's mission.

Compensation

• Target annual salary range: $175,000—$206,000 USD (full-time offers may include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Work Model & Expectations

• Remote-first but not remote-only; in-person participation is required throughout the year and attendance to team/company offsites is expected and supported.
