Responsibilities

  • Build deep expertise on Airbnb in your market/region using user research, marketplace data, and competitive analysis.
  • Articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb products and new businesses in your market/region.
  • Implement product development and management best practices, including go-to-market kits and information packs for local teams.
  • Maintain and prioritize product features and roadmap in collaboration with local teams.
  • Advocate for and execute new products and features that deliver business and user impact; drive features for major releases and test-and-learn pilots.
  • Communicate and influence outcomes across all levels of the company, including regional and country executive teams.
  • Drive alignment across product teams (Technology, Design) and cross-functional partners (Business, Supply, FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Support, Trust, etc.).
  • Define goals and success with measurable objectives and key results for your area.
  • Build and integrate partnerships that expand existing businesses and create new opportunities.
  • Navigate regulatory and government requirements in partnership with Policy/Comms and regions/markets.
  • Craft product narrative and marketing strategies; collaborate with comms and marketing to communicate products internally and externally.
  • Develop and deliver engaging product demos to press; handle media-facing product communications.

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • 10–15 years of product management experience with demonstrated product leadership.
  • Comfortable performing individual contributor product management work and capable of operating in larger orgs as well as startups/entrepreneurial environments.
  • Proven success building and scaling global consumer products and ecosystems.
  • Experience creating product messaging and delivering to customers and the media.
  • Strong ability to use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy and decisions.
  • Capable of driving execution across teams in a fast-paced environment; highly collaborative and results oriented.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (30–35% of the time).
  • Fluency in English and at least one local language (Spanish or Portuguese).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $224,000 — $280,000 USD (base pay dependent on experience, skills, market and other factors).
  • Role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Location & Working Model

  • Offices listed: Mexico City, Mexico; Miami, United States; San Francisco, United States; São Paulo, Brazil.
  • Due to the nature of the position, the successful applicant must be based in San Francisco or Miami.
  • Role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites.
