Details
The ChatGPT Growth team is responsible for helping hundreds of millions of people around the world discover, adopt, and find increasing value from ChatGPT. The Premium team focuses on consumer subscriptions (Go, Plus, and Pro).
This role is focused on leading subscriber activation and retention for ChatGPT's consumer subscriptions. You will shape how new premium features are introduced, positioned, and monetized, scope and launch new subscription offerings, and ensure a high-quality subscriber journey using data, experimentation, and user research. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven, execution-oriented PM who is equally comfortable shaping new subscription bets and obsessing over the details of the paid user experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy and roadmap for subscriber onboarding, activation, and retention
- Define how new cutting-edge capabilities are introduced, positioned, and monetized for paid users
- Scope and launch new subscription offerings
- Be a steward for a high-quality user experience, with a high bar for clarity, usability, and trust across the subscriber journey
- Use data, experimentation, and user research to understand subscriber needs and improve outcomes
- Collaborate with core product teams to shape features and launches that drive durable subscriber engagement
- Partner with Brand and Marketing to evolve how the company communicates the value of ChatGPT subscriptions
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience across growth, subscriptions, or other monetization products
- Experience improving activation, engagement, or retention at scale
- Strong product intuition and a focus on turning product value into clear user understanding and lasting habits
- Highly analytical and comfortable using experimentation and data to drive product strategy
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with rapidly evolving products
- Experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, design, marketing, data science, and research
- Interest in shaping the future of AI subscriptions and premium consumer experiences (ChatGPT, multimodal, and agentic capabilities are referenced)
