Information about the position
We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead the fight against harmful listings on Vinted. You’ll own the systems that detect and block prohibited items - think counterfeit goods, illegal products, and policy-violating content. Your work will focus on building and improving rule-based and ML-powered detection, scaling coverage across categories, and reducing both misses and false positives. You’ll work closely with engineering, Trust & Safety, and data science to stay ahead of evolving threats and keep our platform safe for members.
In this position, you’ll
- End-to-end ownership of harmful listings detection systems - from rules to ML models
- Roadmap for detection improvements: new signals, coverage expansion, accuracy tuning
- Prioritization of threats based on impact, volume, and enforcement gaps
- Collaboration with engineering, data science and analytics, legal, operations peers and other product teams to ensure effective, coordinated enforcement
- Monitoring and continuous iteration on detection performance
- Rapid response to emerging threats or new abuse patterns
About you
- Experience as a PM or program lead in Trust & Safety, Fraud, content moderation, or marketplace risk type of teams
- Proven track record delivering detection or enforcement projects end-to-end
- Data-driven: able to define, track, and act on safety metrics independently
- Basic knowledge of compliance related to harmful content
- Familiarity with AI/ML approaches for automated detection
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
- Resilience and ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment
These additional qualifications are a plus:
- Experience managing vendor or third-party partnerships in safety or compliance
- Familiarity with behavioral psychology or social dynamics behind user abuse
- Background in change management or driving adoption of new processes
- Experience in member support dealing with content violations
