Airbnb’s Trust Product Operations team sustains platform integrity by driving daily operational excellence, influencing product and policy decisions, and translating on-the-ground insights into strategic action. This role serves as the connective tissue between frontline teams and cross-functional partners—Product, Engineering, Policy, and beyond—ensuring operations are consistent, resilient, and scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Act as central point of contact between Product and Operations in your specialization with an expanded senior stakeholder group.
  • Provide informal guidance to newer team members.
  • Liaise between Operations and Product, balancing needs and supporting initiatives based on Trust priorities.
  • Understand Ops Capacity, metrics, and trends for product planning and projects.
  • Apply knowledge of product defenses and launches to enhance user and agent experiences.
  • Maintain knowledge of all operational products within remit; drive enhancements, bug fixes, and ops requirements.
  • Improve efficiency and fraud/risk metrics using analytical and technical skills.
  • Advocate for Operations and manage communication between Operations and Product.
  • Build relationships with Product Managers, Data Science, and Engineering teams to provide operational insights.
  • Participate in product planning, strategy sessions, and launch discussions.
  • Ensure bugs are vetted, reported, and prioritized.
  • Collaborate with Project and Program managers to ensure initiatives follow lifecycle and are operationalized.
  • Support iteration on product solutions and ad-hoc operations processes in emergencies.
  • Manage support and resource requests to cross-functional teams.
  • Handle Root Cause Analysis requests or delegate appropriately.
  • Provide feedback on scaling and technology use to improve frontline metrics.
  • Simplify complex information from product defenses to agent workflow.
  • Assist in managing and improving team processes and vetting work requests.
  • Influence Trust planning activities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience or 2+ years with relevant education.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to detect vulnerabilities in products/features.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond calmly in time-sensitive situations.
  • Detail oriented and data analytical skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $103,000 – $121,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
