Your job

The overall challenge is to continuously improve the IP services in the dynamic cyber world. As a leader with an analytical and innovative mindset, you will drive to improve the way of working in the Cyber Defence grid as a whole and to advance Information Protection specifically. You will use your knowledge of complex IT environments combined with concepts such as Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and CloudApp security to increase the Cyber Resilience of the bank.

As a Product Owner, you’ll have a strategic role in the Cyber Defence grid. In that role, you will ensure that the various capabilities to protect the bank’s data are complementary and evolve smoothly in our security landscape. You have a vision on the team’s road ahead and will be able to translate new needs into a comprehensive roadmap for future development of products and services. Your experience with working as a Product Owner in an agile environment is evident and will definitely help you drive the team forward.

In order to meet these challenges, you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in the area of information protection. Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and peers comes naturally to you.

Working environment

You will work as the Product Owner of the Information Protection within ABN AMRO CISO’s Cyber Defence Grid. The team consists of motivated and passionate cybersecurity analysts and engineers specialized in the areas of DLP, Insider Risk Management, and ShadowIT risk management. As a Product Owner, you will also have to work together with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile

Must have:

• 5+ years of Product owner experience in an agile working environment.
• Knowledge of the area of Information Protection (i.e. DLP, Insider Risk Management, CloudApp Security).
• Understanding of and experience with working in complex IT environments.

Soft skills

• Experience with stakeholder management.
• Excellent communications skills: calm and composed but also capable of being assertive and making tough decisions if the situation requires.

Nice to have:

• Background in cyber security.
• Experience with security monitoring, assurance, and incident response.
