Ready to shape the future of transaction reporting? This Product Owner role empowers you to lead regulatory change β€” combining strategy, data, and collaboration to deliver scalable solutions for ABN AMRO Clearing.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the regulatory reporting strategy across IT, risk, compliance, and finance
  • Set and prioritise the block’s direction in line with the capability strategy, with alignment validated through the Quarterly Business Review and approval by the AACB Global Management Team
  • Own and manage the block backlog from definition to acceptance; drive delivery and release of products, services, and capabilities
  • Translate new and evolving regulations into clear functional and technical requirements
  • Work closely with technology, compliance, and operations teams to implement regulatory changes and ensure effective reporting processes
  • Validate and monitor reporting data through reconciliations, logical checks, and multiple control frameworks to ensure reliable, transparent, explainable end-to-end reporting
  • Maintain relationships with regulators and exchanges; handle regulatory queries and contribute to consultation papers
  • Oversee stability and scalability of the reporting technology stack
  • HR line responsibility: lead and develop Business Developers and team members

Work environment

ABN AMRO Clearing is a global clearing firm processing around 18 million transactions daily. You will be part of a Product Grid block within a multidisciplinary team of 12–13 professionals, operating in an international, IT-driven environment with a professional yet informal culture. The team works within a modern data ecosystem including Postgres, Oracle, Pentaho (Kettle), AWS Redshift, and Tableau.

Requirements

  • Academic (university) level of thinking and working
  • ~10 years of relevant experience, including process or functional management, and at least 5 years in IT services
  • Proven experience in project management, process improvement, change management, and stakeholder management in complex organisations
  • Knowledge of financial services (preferably investing/securities)
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Lean ways of working
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, back-end systems, platforms, applications, outsourcing, service management, software development, and APIs
  • Strong analytical skills, a focus on data quality, and the ability to translate regulation into technical/functional requirements

We are offering

  • An attractive gross monthly salary based on a 36 hour work week: EUR 7,048 – EUR 10,068 per month (including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget). A 40 hour work week is also possible.
