Details

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join

The Chief Business Officer organization plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expansion efforts worldwide. Team members commercialize Airbnb’s new and existing businesses, help Airbnb expand beyond its core offering as a place to stay, recruit and develop Airbnb’s global supply of high-quality stays, Experiences, and Services, and execute Airbnb’s global strategy in market. With a focus on business strategy, quality supply and international expansion, the team drives Airbnb’s continued growth.

The Global Markets Team (within CBO) ensures Airbnb is locally relevant and serves the needs of global hosts and guests, helping regions plan and execute growth strategies across supply, demand, and other surfaces.

This role is on the US West team reporting to the Director, US West.

  • Support the Director, US West and senior leaders on strategic projects; lead and implement ad-hoc operational and strategic projects requiring coordination across local, regional, and cross-functional teams.
  • Own conception, execution, and measurement of cross-functional initiatives end-to-end: define problem statements, articulate solutions, identify dependencies, and work with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • Minimum of 10+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to data-modeling, analytics, and project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
  • World-class written and verbal communicator with ability to present at all levels of an organization succinctly and clearly.

  • Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to document processes and decisions.
  • Experience implementing and scaling initiatives across globally dispersed teams and working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
