About the role

The Research IP Partnerships team is hiring a Partnership Operations team member to help execute and improve the operational workflows behind external research partnerships. In this role you will work on high-priority, ambiguous problems at the intersection of research, partnership, and applied engineering. You will manage complex processes, track key deliverables, support partner-facing requests, and improve how the team operates at scale. This role is well suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. The team uses a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offers relocation assistance to new employees.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of critical partner-facing operational workflows.
  • Build and improve processes, tools, and automations that increase team efficiency and reduce operational friction.
  • Manage day-to-day execution against partner commitments with strong attention to detail.
  • Deep dive into the critical drivers of operations and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Manage critical inquiries from both technical and non-technical partners.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience in strategy & operations, program management, consulting, investment banking, or a similar execution-focused role.
  • Engineering background or strong technical fluency; comfortable working closely with research and engineering teams.
  • Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships and empathy for the many roles involved in deploying research.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and visual communication skills.
  • Engagement and curiosity about the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Specific technologies / skills that will be helpful

  • Experience with vibe coding tools, agentic models, or OpenAI LLM APIs (e.g., Codex).
  • Project management tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Listed base pay range: $162K – $240K; offers equity. Base pay may vary based on market location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include equity and performance-related bonuses.
