Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day release tasks including cherry-pick reviews, build validations, and release coordination for mobile (iOS & Android) and browser extension applications
  • Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Runners, Advanced GH Workflows, and CircleCI
  • Automate and improve build/test/release workflows using scripting (Bash, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.)
  • Monitor build health, troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively
  • Ensure proper versioning, tagging, and signing of builds for mobile and extension platforms
  • Submit and track releases on App Store, Play Store, and extension stores (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
  • Partner with QA to integrate and validate unit, UI, and E2E tests in release workflows
  • Maintain documentation and checklists for release processes
  • Coordinate feature flag rollouts using LaunchDarkly in collaboration with engineering and product teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in release engineering, CI/CD, or build/release coordination
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and performing cherry-pick reviews on production branches
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools: Bitrise, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitHub Runners
  • Strong scripting skills with GH Actions, YML-based systems
  • Familiarity with Git workflows (trunk-based, Git Flow) and semantic versioning
  • Excellent communication skills to support fast-moving teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature flag systems
  • Understanding of staged rollouts, crash monitoring, and store compliance
  • Familiarity with extension policies (CSP, permission management)
  • iOS builds and release experience using Fastlane, Xcode, TestFlight, App Store Connect
  • Android builds and release experience with Gradle, Play Console
  • Experience with browser extensions (manifest v2/v3, WebExtension APIs, Chrome/Firefox/Edge stores)
  • Contributions to release tools, automation frameworks, or documentation
