Research Scientist, Computer Vision and AI - New College Grad 2025

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding AI researcher to join the learning and perception research team. The team focuses on research that pushes boundaries and delivers real-world impact in areas including perception, reasoning, multi-modal learning, and embodied AI. You will work within a collaborative research team that publishes at top venues in computer vision and machine learning and whose expertise includes computer vision, deep learning, and generative models. Your contributions can have real impact on NVIDIA products.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement novel computer vision and deep learning methods.
• Publish original research at top conferences and venues.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams on mission-driven research.
• Mentor interns.
• Speak at conferences and events.
• Work with product groups to transfer technology to products.
• Collaborate with external researchers.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent research experience.
• Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, and deep learning.
• Excellent programming skills in a rapid prototyping environment such as Python. C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) are a plus.
• Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
• Outstanding research track record (publications, presentations).
• Excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Application

• Base salary range: 160,000 USD - 258,750 USD (final base determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
• You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
