Details

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding AI researcher to join the learning and perception research team. The team focuses on research that pushes boundaries and has real-world impact. Areas of interest include perception, agentic reasoning, multi-modal learning, and embodied AI. The team publishes at top venues in computer vision and machine learning and has expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and generative models. Contributions may be transferred to NVIDIA products.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement novel embodied and agentic AI methods.
  • Publish original research in top conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams on mission-driven research.
  • Mentor interns.
  • Present at conferences and events.
  • Work with product groups to transfer technology to products.
  • Collaborate with external researchers.

Requirements

  • Graduating with a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent research experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and agents.
  • Excellent programming skills in a rapid prototyping environment such as Python. C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
  • Outstanding research track record (publications, strong research contributions).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Other Details

  • Base salary range: 160,000 USD - 258,750 USD (final base salary determined by location, experience, and internal pay parity).
