NVIDIA is seeking a world-class intern to join its research team working at the intersection of Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. The role focuses on cutting-edge research in AI for simulation, 3D deep learning, DL for animation, content generation, transfer learning, domain adaptation, computer vision, and medical imaging. You will work alongside experts in AI, graphics and robotics and have access to NVIDIA's resources for impactful research.

Responsibilities

  • Invent or apply deep learning techniques to 3D or 4D content creation (e.g., photogrammetry, generative AI).
  • Improve realism and immersive qualities of VR environments and interactions, including AI-created content, intelligent characters, and crowd/traffic behavior.
  • Participate in projects to conduct deep learning research and publish papers at top conferences (e.g., CVPR, NeurIPS).
  • Research and develop deep learning technology for games, virtual reality, and related applications.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S., Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Math/Physics/Statistics, or a related field.
  • Past experience in cross-collaborative environments.
  • At least one course on theories and practices of machine learning, including familiarity with common machine learning frameworks.

Additional requirements if pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D.

  • In-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of machine learning.
  • Minimum one strong publication (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV).
  • Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks.
  • Track record of research excellence.
