Details

OpenAI’s Enterprise Platform team builds systems that help GTM teams bring OpenAI products to customers at scale. This role sits close to our emerging ads business, partnering with Ads Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to create reliable workflows for advertiser lifecycle, campaign readiness, approvals, and revenue operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build Salesforce solutions for ads GTM: develop user experiences, objects, automations, and guardrails to help Ads Sales and Operations manage advertisers, opportunities, insertion orders, campaign readiness, approvals, and launch handoffs with high data quality.
  • Engineer integrations across the ads stack: connect Salesforce with ads platforms, product catalogs, pricing/rate-card systems, data warehouses, billing tools, measurement workflows, CLM, and e-signature systems so advertiser and campaign data stays accurate and auditable.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and document: resolve production issues quickly, strengthen observability, and maintain clear documentation aligned with ads operations, financial controls, privacy requirements, and deployment best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally: collaborate daily with Ads Sales, Ads Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and GTM teams to translate ambiguous ads-business needs into durable Salesforce-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced Salesforce development skills (Apex, async patterns, APIs) and data model expertise across account, opportunity, campaign/order, approval, billing, and reporting domains.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing robust integrations between Salesforce, ads platforms, data warehouses, billing systems, and operational tools.
  • Proven ability to build, test, document, and deploy scoped solutions using SDLC best practices in fast-moving, highly cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of partnering with Ads Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams to deliver complex requirements.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect) or prior experience in digital advertising, marketplaces, media, commerce, or high-growth SaaS businesses.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with digital advertising concepts including advertiser onboarding, campaign setup/trafficking, insertion orders, rate cards, creative approvals, measurement, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with ad-serving, measurement, data warehouse, or revenue operations integrations.
  • Software development experience outside Salesforce.
  • DevOps management, CI/CD ownership, or Salesforce platform release management.
