Details

Join the Unified Communications team at ABN AMRO to maintain and evolve the bank's telephony infrastructure and Microsoft Teams Phone solutions. You will work with AudioCodes SBCs and OVOC, advise on and integrate Teams Phone features, build and use data-driven reports, and collaborate with Product Owner and DevOps teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. The role emphasizes process optimization, automation, stakeholder communication, and ownership of milestone validation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure optimal performance of telephony infrastructure based on AudioCodes SBCs.
  • Implement and advise on Microsoft Teams Phone features and integrations.
  • Build, use and maintain insightful reports and data-driven analyses to measure performance and drive decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owner, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to understand needs and devise solutions.
  • Educate and empower colleagues and business users to implement and use Microsoft Teams Phone features.
  • Lead and manage milestone validation processes independently.
  • (Re)build, improve and automate processes and tools to streamline workflows, enhance workload management and improve performance analysis accuracy.

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • Advanced knowledge of AudioCodes SBCs and OVOC (must).
  • Advanced knowledge of telco operators (must).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines (must).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Phone, its features and potential (must).
  • Proven skills within Unified Communications, specifically telephony infrastructure.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (experience level indicated in the vacancy).
  • Connector mindset: drive cross-team and cross-department collaboration.
  • Proactive attitude; not afraid to challenge, take ownership and lead.
  • Team player, eager to learn, ask questions and accept mistakes as part of growth.
  • "Automate-everything" and customer-centric mindset.

Desirable / contextual information from the role:

  • Experience supporting telephony solutions for contact centers, trader telephony and international deployments (the bank uses Teams Phone in multiple countries).
  • Experience working in DevOps-style teams and collaborating with platform/DevOps engineers.

  • Teams operate from the Netherlands with users both inside and outside the Netherlands.
  • Multiple DevOps teams focused on M365 (Teams, Outlook), Social Collaboration (SharePoint, Kaltura) and Unified Communication (Teams Telephony, Trader Telephony, Compliance Recording).
