Details

We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer with broad understanding of providing Azure as an Enterprise ready platform, including networking, policy and governance, and security controls. You will join the platform team that develops Azure landing zones, related integrations, policies, and governance for consumption by other teams within the company. This role combines architecture with engineering. As a senior engineer, you guide the team with short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute or lead design and development in a DevOps team, considering security and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compatibility with ABN AMRO's IT platform functions.
  • Translate ABN AMRO's IT needs into development requirements.
  • Enable business DevOps teams and internal Azure customers (400+ DevOps teams) to consume Azure services as self-service in a secure and compliant manner.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for Azure platform products, solutions, functions, resources, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with over 10 other Azure DevOps teams to deliver value.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Azure certified Solution Architect.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Azure service portfolio and latest developments.
  • Proven senior experience with using and developing Azure services.
  • Strong security awareness; certifications like CCSP, CISSP recommended.
  • Experience in design and deployment of ARM templates, JSON, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge and experience with YAML pipelines.
  • Preferred experience with programming languages like C# and Python.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented design and development.
  • Ability to act as sparring partner for development community and other cloud (DevOps) teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into solutions, services, and products.
  • Service oriented with a growth mindset.

  • Gross monthly salary of €5,847 - €8,353 based on a 36-hour workweek, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
