As Saily continues to grow rapidly, we’re seeking Senior Backend Developers interested in transitioning to Golang from other backend languages. Responsibilities

  • Enhance the Saily product by developing and maintaining new features.
  • Create features to support layers of multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality codebase; continually seek to improve code and performance.
  • Mentor colleagues on development best practices and provide technical guidance.
  • Influence the overall vision and long-range goals of your team.
  • Perform R&D operations whenever required.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team and help ensure smooth communication between team members.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design professionals from other teams.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience in backend development.
  • Preferably a background in Python, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Solid knowledge of system design and design patterns — you know what patterns to use, when, and why.
  • Previous experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and microservice architecture is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Cassandra, Redis).
  • Previous experience with Kafka.
  • Passionate about building APIs that are easy to use and simple to understand.
  • Collaborative mindset; you enjoy discussing, rethinking, and redesigning ideas that create shared success.
