Responsibilities
- Develop onchain security strategies and perform security assessments and threat modeling of various blockchain protocols.
- Lead proactively to identify top onchain security risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert technical guidance to build new security frameworks, analysis tools, and products.
- Establish best practices and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure adoption.
- Coach and mentor Protocol Security team members to advance their skills and crypto expertise.
- Guide Protocol Security towards cutting-edge blockchain security technologies and industry standard setting.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of onchain ecosystems, including L1 and L2 networks, DeFi protocols, and staking.
- Expertise in identifying machine-level, transaction-level, and business logic vulnerabilities in smart contracts and protocol infrastructure.
- 3+ years of smart contract auditing experience with leadership in audits of complex protocols.
- Strong self-driven continuous learning approach in the rapidly evolving crypto space.
- Passion for mentoring blockchain security engineers and openness to learning from the team.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability in relationship building with security, product, and engineering teams.
- Ability to balance strategic long-term thinking with short-term tactical planning.

Job location is remote. The role is full-time with a salary range plus bonuses and equity.
