Responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and security assessments of blockchain products and services.
• Propose, plan, and execute Red Team operations based on realistic threats.
• Write detailed reports covering goals and outcomes of Red Team operations, including observations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with partner teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Provide expert technical guidance for building new security frameworks and analysis tools.
• Stay informed on current security trends, advisories, publications, and academic research.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years blockchain security experience.
• 3+ years Red Team experience demonstrating breaking complex systems with novel techniques.
• Proven record of identifying critical vulnerabilities across blockchain protocol stacks, onchain and offchain.
• Extensive knowledge of blockchain ecosystems including L1, L2 networks, DeFi protocols, native staking.
• Expertise in designing robust security countermeasures against known and anticipated vulnerabilities.
• Strong self-drive for continuous learning given the rapidly changing crypto space.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building relationships with product, engineering, and security teams.

Nice to Haves

• Participation in security competitions (CTFs), Bug Bounty, open source security research, CVE analysis.
• Expertise in Application Security, Network Security, Cloud Security.
• 1+ years Software Engineering experience.

Pay Transparency Notice: Target annual salary £122,400 – £136,000 GBP plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
