The Rabobank app is the frontend of a very large and complex organization, and it uses a lot of data from many systems, owned by different departments. We’re decoupling the internet banking channels from their backend systems, with new systems that expose the same data with much better performance and availability, making the entire platform much faster and reliable. Exposed data includes payment related data like transactions and balances, but also customer and product data. These are huge domains with a lot of complexity and for this we are searching for a Business Analyst. Together with the squad and your stakeholders, you improve both the quality of the internet banking channels as well as make this huge amount of data easier to use.

You & Your function

As a (Senior) Business Analyst you are responsible for topics where you lead and guide changes at process level from the kickoff to the go-live moment and the aftercare. You are the connection between the squad and other parties involved; these can be other squads, the business or other stakeholders. You work a lot together with the Product Owner.

Your top responsibilities

• Together with stakeholders, team members and architects, translate high level ideas into concrete, actionable work for the team, identifying possible issues, unclarities and dependencies in a structured way, allowing the developers to follow along with the thought process.
• Stakeholder management, so that the decisions taken are supported by the future users and it is clear what the consequences will be of the new way of working.
• Dependency management, to ensure that our requirements are translated in unambiguous work, usually for our providers, but also translating requirements and potential changes for our own clients.

You & your talent

• At least an IT-oriented completed bachelor or master education, since this position puts a lot of emphasis on data and non-functional characteristics
• The ability to deal with large amounts of (potential) clients and the ability to translate specific requests into preferrable reusable solutions
• Excellent communication skills and willing to take the lead if the situation requires it
• Substantive experience with accessibility topics for the digital world
• Substantive experience in stakeholder management and analysis techniques for preparing the work of the team
• Affinity with online platforms such as corporate websites and related IT landscapes and processes
• You have an affinity with improving and innovating processes
• Experience with setting up data-driven processes and customer-oriented thinking
• Working with deadlines and working towards results appeals to you
• You speak and write English at a high level
• You have experience in the financial world
