The Business Intelligence team is part of Data & Analytics within Business Operations and empowers teams across the company by ensuring data is consistent, accessible, and actionable.

As a Senior BI Analyst you will take ownership and set direction for scalable BI practices that support company-wide decision-making. Your initial focus will be revamping and streamlining the Looker instance, establishing governance processes, and enabling self-service analytics so stakeholders can reliably access insights. You will also partner with teams on deeper analysis to drive meaningful product and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in the analytics tooling ecosystem (Looker, Amplitude, Hex) and ensure these tools complement each other to deliver insights.
  • Shape the direction of the analytics tooling landscape by establishing governance and processes for long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to execute detailed analysis of product performance; identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive product strategy.
  • Collaborate with data engineering on projects that shape the BI layer and scale BI reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering on ad hoc product and business analytics requests.
  • Lead BI adoption and enablement initiatives (trainings, documentation, office hours) to drive cross-functional tool usage.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence analyst, or a similar role.
  • Experience owning and improving BI platform governance (e.g., Looker), focusing on model ownership, reporting consolidation, and sustainable maintenance practices.
  • Proven experience leading BI adoption and enablement across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases, including queries, database definition, and schema design.
  • Expertise in data visualization principles to simplify communication of complex data and drive insights.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and able to create structure while working in undefined areas.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base salary range: $160,000 to $180,000 (actual salary determined by factors including work location, experience, skills, and education).
