This role is a senior program management position on the Customer Technical Program Management Team responsible for leading customer relations and technical/operational program execution for strategic partners.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and tactics for integrating complex cloud software stacks from evaluation/proof-of-concept through design, development, qualification/validation and customer acceptance.
- Scope projects, assemble core support teams, kick off projects with customers, and develop joint project timelines.
- Support design-in efforts by providing technical collateral/tools and lead engineering design reviews.
- Ensure implementation of customer-required features, drive resolution of blocking issues, and ensure timely customer acceptance and production deployment.
- Translate customer requirements into tasks and assign to relevant functional areas; collect, prioritize, track, and drive customer-reported issues to closure.
- Clearly communicate issue status to customers and internal teams, including executive stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and sales to resolve technical issues, set expectations, and keep project scope on track.
- Organize and lead complex engineering-to-engineering technical discussions and correctly represent the urgency of issues.
- Regularly communicate program status and key issues to management and develop close working relationships with customer development teams to find creative solutions.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in the high-tech industry with a focus on program/project management.
- 5+ years of validated project/program management of software product solutions.
- Deep experience running significant and complex software engagement programs, especially with strategic customers with large datacenter deployments.
- Strong technical savvy including software qualification and deployment for datacenter and cloud development/deployment and/or OEM environments.
- Strong leadership skills across broad and diverse functional teams.
- Experience leading global projects and handling multiple customers/programs across worldwide geographies and time zones.
Ways to Stand Out
- Graphics and/or cloud datacenter development/deployment experience.
- Comfort defining and managing complex program schedules with deep understanding of dependencies, critical paths, and milestones.
- Proven record of handling multiple customers and programs across global time zones.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
- Base salary range: Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD; Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
