Details

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join the Information Security team, passionate about security and excited to build foundationally strong security architectures for NVIDIA.

NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a “learning machine” that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can tackle, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work, to amplify human imagination and intelligence. Join our diverse team today!

Responsibilities

  • Actively shape NVIDIA’s enterprise security architecture, aligning with business objectives, enterprise strategies, and the evolving cyber threat landscape.

  • Provide technical leadership and security expertise to IT and business teams in designing and implementing secure and resilient solutions according to policy, standards, industry best practices and SDLC processes.
  • Partner with the business to identify potential security risks and guide teams to implement appropriate controls through comprehensive security architecture and threat modeling reviews.
  • Develop and socialize security architecture standards and patterns based on business demands.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in the development, review and implementation of global security policies and standards.
  • Support forums and committees with management teams to communicate security strategies across all business units, influencing decision-making processes by interacting with executive leadership.

Requirements

  • BS or equivalent experience and hold at least one recognized industry security certification (for example: CISSP, GCED, CCIE–Security, cloud vendor security certifications, etc.).
  • 12+ years of industry experience.
  • Intimate knowledge of enterprise security technologies, architecture principles and industry security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS) required to secure sophisticated environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise and domain security architectures and strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of system, application, and infrastructure (network, cloud) security architecture.
  • Must have experience with industry threat modeling frameworks and solutions.
  • Expertise in network security, including Zero Trust architectures, vulnerability assessment, encryption standards, and secure data handling.
  • Proficient in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and modern security technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and ensure security measures.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (range shown below), eligibility for equity, and a generous benefits package. NVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
