In this role you will contribute to projects that impact millions of customers and have the freedom to grow and experiment. The team works hybrid (home or office) and you will be supported with the right home-office resources.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL data pipelines that consume data from multiple sources, apply transformations and transfer the data to target systems.
- Develop and review software solutions deployed in the Azure Cloud.
- Work as part of a diverse Agile/Scrum DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility for developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities in the Credit Risk Services area.
- Support and guide colleagues to become technical experts and contribute to a future-proof bank.
Working environment
You will be part of the Credit Risk Services (CRS) shop — the central Credits hub for rating assessment, client groupings, credit risk calculations and credits ESG administration. The team contributes to regulatory demands and internal findings and supports the bank’s ambition to provide insights in the sustainability of the Credits portfolio. ABN AMRO offers hybrid working as the new normal, with flexibility to decide when and where you work. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong experience in designing and developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience working with Azure in large scale environments, specifically: Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, and Postgres DB.
- Advanced Python development skills (certification is a strong plus).
- Experience in building and maintaining Python-based APIs.
- Practical experience working with Gen AI and/or Agentic AI.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and strong technical leadership qualities.
- Fluent in English and able to collaborate in multidisciplinary, international environments.
- Banking experience and experience with Data Science and Machine Learning are a big plus.
We are offering
- Gross monthly salary: € 5.847 - € 8.353 per month (based on a 36-hour work week), including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget; placement in salary scale 10 or 11 depending on experience.
