As an IT Engineer IV (Data), you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, regulatory‑grade data products for Finance and Risk. Working in an agile, international environment, you will leverage Azure Databricks and Power BI to transform complex, granular data into clear, actionable insights. Responsibilities

  • Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
  • Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into high‑quality data models and Power BI reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability throughout the reporting chain.
  • Proactively contribute to technical decisions, best practices, and continuous improvements within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow IT Engineers, Business Developers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of reports.
  • Deliver dashboards and data products for use cases such as Non‑Performing Exposures (NPE), Credit Risk Management Information (MI), analytical data sets, and loan tapes including validation and reconciliation reports.

Working environment

  • Work in an international, cross‑functional agile team responsible for both change and run activities.
  • Part of the Reporting Grid within the Finance & Risk domain, with end‑to‑end responsibility for regulatory reporting.
  • Team composition: IT Engineers, Business Developers, Product Owner; affiliated with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence chapter and reporting to the Chapter Lead.

Requirements

General / Soft skills

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working in a DevOps‑oriented environment (CI/CD, automated testing, releases).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical topics clearly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; growth mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, fast‑changing, and regulated environment.
  • Experience collaborating in international and diverse teams.

Hands‑on technical skills (required)

  • Python for data engineering or analytics.
  • PySpark for large‑scale data processing.
  • Azure Databricks.
  • ETL / ELT pipelines, including data ingestion and transformation.
  • Data modeling (e.g., star schemas, dimensional models).
  • Power BI, including semantic models and basic DAX.

Preferred / Advanced

  • Strong experience optimizing Databricks clusters, performance, and cost.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms such as data warehouses and Lakehouse architectures.
  • Advanced Power BI: DAX optimization, performance‑tuned and regulatory‑grade reporting.
  • Experience working with Azure analytics services or Microsoft Fabric.

Certifications (required or equivalent experience)

  • AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) required (or equivalent hands‑on Azure experience).

Preferred certifications

  • DP-203 – Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate.
  • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Associate or Professional).
  • PL-300 – Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
  • DP-600 – Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.

  • Gross monthly salary range: €5.847 - €8.353 based on a 36‑hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget.
