Collibra is looking for a Senior Data Intelligence Manager to join their growing Data Office team to enable the business to find, understand, and trust enterprise data. This hands-on role requires passion for data governance, data quality, data policy, compliance, risk management, metadata, and cataloging. The role involves communication with both technology and business stakeholders to operationalize Collibra’s enterprise data intelligence strategy and drive internal adoption of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud. The position promotes a culture of data literacy through adoption programs.
Responsibilities
- Optimize data practices to help colleagues efficiently create effective and well-understood data products.
- Define and refine processes to simplify and improve user experience.
- Develop structured programs to promote data literacy and user adoption.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring user needs influence product development.
- Be early adopters of new features/products and provide insights to shape their evolution.
- Contribute to federated data governance policies, standards, and support their automation.
- Play a key role in data intelligence/governance policy, standard, and procedure development.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience operationalizing policy, procedure, quality assurance, and/or change management programs.
- Knowledge of IT systems, applications, technologies including cloud and SaaS.
- Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Understanding of Data Ethics frameworks.
- Experience in virtual teaming and remote working environments.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, for technical and business audiences.
- Direct experience with Collibra platform preferred; certification such as Data Governance Lead, Steward, or Solution Architect is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
