Role summary

We are seeking a passionate and expert Developer Experience Manager to develop and lead onboarding experiences for developers across NVIDIA products. The role focuses on instructional design for technical audiences, improving learning resources, defining templates and delivery mechanisms, and supporting authors and SMEs to deliver high-quality developer content.

Responsibilities

• Design developer journeys and implement content strategies across the full learning ecosystem, including structured courses and informal learning opportunities.
• Champion a user-centric, jobs-to-be-done approach; work backwards from learning outcomes to build engaging content across modalities.
• Analyze developer learning needs with leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and learners to identify and address gaps.
• Define project workflows (potentially adapting models like ADDIE) for project intake, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Evaluate content performance, gather author feedback, and measure learner progress; use data to inform improvements.
• Establish and maintain libraries of resources, templates, runbooks, and tutorials to ensure consistency across content lifecycle management.
• Explore innovative scaling approaches such as using generative AI to expedite content creation.
• Coach SMEs and team members on building developer-centric content and share standard processes and online resources to improve authoring workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including structuring technical content for onboarding on software platforms or products.
• Demonstrated track record running complex learning projects with multiple collaborators, preferably in a global setting.
• Experience designing and developing developer learning journeys.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Ways to stand out

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Background with documentation systems and information architecture for technical content.
• Experience using data and analytics to measure learning effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Experience creating blended learning solutions and onboarding programs.
• Knowledge of generative AI tools and their application in learning content creation.

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary range: 136,000 USD - 224,250 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
• Eligible for equity and company benefits.
