NVIDIA is hiring a Developer Relations leader to build and scale a GPU-accelerated developer and partner ecosystem across electric grid, power automation, and industrial operations. The role focuses on turning time-series analytics, graph/agent-based simulation, computer vision, and LLM copilots into reliable, measurable improvements across edge devices, control rooms, and data centers.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end patterns linking grid/plant OT to IT and data center facilities, covering substations, PDUs/UPS, backup generation, micro-grids, cooling, telemetry, and AI workload orchestration.
- Develop senior-level relationships with CTOs, product managers, and engineers across grid software, automation, and power systems to scale NVIDIA platforms (ADMS/DERMS, EMS, protection & stability studies, substation/factory digital twins, edge AI).
- Unblock technical integration of NVIDIA SDKs (CUDA, Triton, TensorRT, RAPIDS, NIM, Modulus, Omniverse, Metropolis, Isaac/ROS, Jetson/IGX) into partner products and workflows; publish case studies and blueprints.
- Translate field constraints (latency, determinism, interoperability such as IEC 61850, OPC UA, MQTT, CIM), and cybersecurity/NERC CIP requirements into concrete product/roadmap requirements; validate via performance studies.
- Coordinate with Product, Sales, and Cloud/SI partners to deploy solutions at utilities, EPCs, and hyperscale/colocation operators; scale through marketplaces and references.
- Establish measurable outcomes (SDK integration, NVIDIA platforms adoption, POC→production conversion, training, community growth) and drive joint announcements.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical/Power Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in solutions or developer-facing roles in power systems, grid/industrial software, or data centers with hands-on AI/ML, data engineering, time-series analytics, or edge systems experience.
- 2+ years leading technical programs or developer communities (direct or matrix leadership).
- Experience in product development/management for power-system applications or modeling; familiarity with SCADA/DCS, protective relaying, planning & operations studies, and weather-to-grid workflows.
- Skilled in grid/industrial software, data-center power/thermal setups, and grid-interactive operations.
- Ability to translate operator and OT constraints into robust architectures and communicate effectively with developers and executives.
- Familiarity with standards and security frameworks: IEC 61850, CIM, IEC 62351, NERC CIP (or equivalents).
- Willingness to travel approximately 25–40% to partner sites and events.
Nice to Have / Ways to Stand Out
- Product management or enablement experience at ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Vertiv, Eaton, Mitsubishi Electric, DIgSILENT, Schneider Electric, GE, or Oracle Utilities.
- Published acceleration or scale results on grid planning/stability, agent-based/grid simulations, or large-scale time-series analytics on GPUs.
- Hands-on deployments of computer vision or edge AI in substations, plants, or data centers (Jetson/IGX) including safety/resilience and OT/IT integration.
- Exposure to Generative AI in operator tools and workflows; familiarity with weather modeling and power-system coupling.
- Contributions to public benchmarks, tutorials, or developer communities in grid/industrial tech.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by level (location and experience dependent):
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD per year
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD per year
- Eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
Additional Information
- Applications accepted at least until August 25, 2025.
- NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer and committed to a diverse work environment.
