This role focuses on driving NVIDIA's strategic goals in telecom — particularly 6G and AI-native RAN — through partnership, technical leadership, and engagement with the public sector research community.
Responsibilities
- Establish trusted partner relationships with the wireless research community in the public sector (e.g., US and other government and public sector entities).
- Lead and implement NVIDIA’s strategic goals in 6G and AI Win projects to address public sector use cases.
- Engage with public sector partners and drive the ecosystem to bring innovation to NVIDIA’s platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and NVIDIA’s government relations teams to drive mission-aligned tasks.
- Lead and contribute to industry organizations such as ATIS, AI-RAN and 3GPP.
- Analyze complex challenges in realizing AI-native RAN, develop strategies, and implement solutions to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technology to drive innovation.
- Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality benchmarks and align with NVIDIA’s standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- Experience engaging the research community in the public sector.
- 12+ years of proven experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture, 3GPP standards, and RF system engineering.
- Good knowledge of hardware choices for the RAN stack and a vision to evolve the industry toward accelerated computing.
- Understanding of CUDA, TensorFlow, and GPU architecture is a strong plus.
- Strong skills representing the organization at industry bodies, submitting papers, and holding leadership roles.
- Proven ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and deliver results.

- Deep knowledge and connections in the public sector research community.
- Published IEEE research papers and/or 3GPP contributions.
- Demonstrated leadership in sophisticated technical initiatives or cross-functional projects.
- Outstanding communication skills and passion for transformative telecom innovations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
- Eligible for equity and company benefits.
