NVIDIA is looking for an excellent DevOps Engineer to join the Switch and Firmware DevOps team and make a wide impact on the company's products and teams worldwide. The role includes development of cutting-edge design automation tools, build systems, private cloud and continuous integration systems. You will help improve CI processes and automation infrastructure so engineering teams can focus on higher-value programming tasks. The team operates in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support CI processes for various products.
  • Collaborate with teams across the globe to promote and improve CI practices.
  • Build infrastructure for effective, high-quality, reliable development and release processes.
  • Work closely with software developers and performance analysts to build and improve automation infrastructure.
  • Contribute to design automation tools, build systems, private cloud and CI systems.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years experience in software development.
  • Solid experience with Linux operating system.
  • Experience with Jenkins pipelines embedded with Groovy-based libraries.
  • Control of GIT source control management.
  • Proven experience with Docker.
  • Excellent development abilities in Python (scripting and automation).
  • Strong design, coding and debugging skills.
  • Ability to focus on task execution with agility and multitasking.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Ways to stand out

  • Proven background designing and implementing complex CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience with GitLab and Gerrit SCM administration.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base salary range: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4 (final base salary determined by location, experience, and comparison with similar positions).
