Senior DFX Software Engineer - Machine Learning

Details

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on Design-For-Test (DFX) who enjoys creative problem solving and innovation. The team defines and builds methodologies, software, and flows tailored to silicon device testing, silicon debug, and silicon failure analysis, supporting products across gaming, compute platforms, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in modern C++ and various scripting languages to enable design and development of software for efficient test pattern generation, application of patterns on silicon, failure analysis, and yield learning.
• Create efficient parallel graph traversal and graph analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to assess and tackle cross-disciplinary problems across the company.
• Apply large language models (LLMs), graph-based ML approaches, and reinforcement learning to define innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• BS in EE or CS (MS or higher preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with GenAI application development using LLM frameworks and multi-agent applications.
• Expertise with evaluation systems (such as RAGAs) and observability platforms (such as Arize Phoenix).
• Understanding of different agent architectures, RAG systems, and communication protocols.
• Deep familiarity with reinforcement learning algorithms such as PPO, SAC, or Q-learning, including experience tuning hyperparameters and reward functions.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale training techniques (e.g., ZeRO) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark).

Ways to stand out (Preferred)

• Proven deployment of large-scale agentic applications with high concurrency and agility.
• Experience with software and hardware involving DFT, failure analysis, and CAD tools.
• Working experience with agentic models/frameworks, observability and evaluation tools.
• In-depth understanding of modern LLMs and proprietary APIs.
• Experience with fine-tuning large language models, building advanced multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.

  • Level 3: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD
  • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD
