NVIDIA seeks a seasoned, high-impact leader to build, scale, and drive the building of AI factories across key enterprise customers. This role requires a hands-on leader who can start from building the reference architecture to delivery and continuous operations of AI Factory. The person will bring new AI hardware and software technologies to production in customer data centers and will drive deployment of end-to-end technology solutions integration at strategic customers. The role works cross-functionally with product management, hardware and software engineering teams, and requires building scalable operational systems in complex, fast-paced technology environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Solution Architecture and deployment efforts for large data center GPU server and networking system deployments.
  • Guide customer discussions on network design, compute/storage and support bring up of server/network/cluster deployments; visit customer data centers during bring-up phases.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic customers; bring customer-specific requirements to product teams to influence product roadmap features.
  • Identify new project opportunities for NVIDIA products and technology solutions in data center and AI applications; work closely with GPU/Network Systems Engineering, Product Management and Sales teams.
  • Conduct regular technical customer meetings for product roadmap discussions, cluster issue debugging, feature discussions and introduction to new technology solutions.
  • Help build custom product demonstrations and POCs addressing customer business needs.
  • Hire and build an elite team of AI Infrastructure architects; manage multi-functional, multi-regional, and supplier-aligned teams.
  • Travel to customer sites and industry events as required; use conferencing tools extensively.

Requirements

  • 18+ years overall experience in Systems/Solution Engineering (or similar engineering roles) with deep experience in data center design and operations; strong hands-on experience is required.
  • 8+ years of management experience.
  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar β€” or equivalent experience.
  • System-level expertise with CPU/GPU server architecture, NICs, Linux, system software and kernel drivers.
  • Experience with networking switches for Ethernet and InfiniBand, and data center infrastructure (power/cooling).
  • Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps technologies such as Docker/containers and Kubernetes.
  • Strong operational understanding of large-scale data center infrastructure including servers, networking, power, cooling systems, and high-performance computing environments.
  • Hands-on leadership style β€” able to combine high-level program management with direct operational problem solving.
  • Experience managing multi-functional, multi-regional teams and influencing across technical and operational groups.
  • Effective time management and strong verbal/written communication skills; able to document and present ideas and technical details clearly.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with NVIDIA hardware platforms (DGX, HGX, GB200, GB300, NVLink, InfiniBand) and experience with bring-up and deployment of large clusters.
  • Experience scaling hardware operations in hyperscale, AI, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
  • Strong external customer-facing background.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 368,000 USD - 557,750 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.

Location & Other

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Travel to customer sites required.
