As a Senior EDA License Administrator at NVIDIA, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing engineering software licenses, helping ensure engineering teams have reliable access to the tools they need.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain FlexLM / FlexNet Publisher license servers.
- Ensure flawless operation of license management systems to support engineering teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to determine license requirements and implement efficient solutions.
- Monitor and analyze license usage; provide reports and recommendations.
- Develop requirements for automation of license management tasks to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve license-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Work with vendors to manage license procurement and renewals.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge of FlexLM / FlexNet Publisher.
- Extensive experience with Linux (Red Hat or other variants).
- Basic shell scripting skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and ambitious approach to continuous improvement.
- At least 5 years experience managing enterprise FlexLM licensing environments.
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred / Ways to stand out
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a high-tech environment.
- Advanced scripting skills in languages such as Python or Perl.
- Proficiency with FlexNet Embedded and/or Reprise License Manager (RLM).
- Track record of successfully managing large-scale license environments.
- Deep understanding of license compliance and optimization strategies.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges:
- Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. (See NVIDIA benefits for details.)
