We are seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to join NVIDIA's team focused on AI computing and deep learning solutions. The role involves introducing NVIDIA GPU products across deployments from data centers to edge computing, providing technical customer support, and driving design wins by collaborating with sales and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical specialist for GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers to secure design wins.
- Establish and nurture technical relationships with engineers, management, and architects at key customer accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and product requirements in the CSP/OEM AI market to implement NVIDIA solutions.
- Provide onsite support to diagnose and solve hardware and software problems, with a focus on deep learning inference.
- Lead products through their lifecycle from design-in to end-of-life, ensuring execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop technical solutions including hardware and software demos and example system designs.
- Deliver technical and sales training to direct sales teams and channel partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry, particularly in system design or technical customer support roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of excelling in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; ability to work with both management and engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ways to stand out
- Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, APIs, and similar embedded OS.
- Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing spaces.
- In-depth understanding of CPU architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (location and level dependent):
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD per year
- Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD per year
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
