We are seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to join NVIDIA's team and support the introduction and deployment of GPU products across data centers and edge computing. The role focuses on system design, technical customer engagement, and delivering hardware and software solutions that enable deep learning inference and other AI workloads.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, supporting sales account managers to secure design wins.
- Establish and nurture technical relationships with engineers, management, and architects at key customer accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and product requirements in the CSP/OEM AI market and implement NVIDIA solutions.
- Provide onsite support to troubleshoot hardware and software problems, with a focus on deep learning inference.
- Lead product lifecycle activities from design-in to end-of-life, ensuring execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop technical solutions, including hardware & software demos and example system designs.
- Deliver technical and sales training to direct sales teams and channel partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in the high-tech electronics industry, particularly in system design or technical customer support roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of managing multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with management and engineering teams.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
Preferred / Ways to stand out
- Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, APIs, and similar embedded OS.
- Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, or ruggedized computing spaces.
- In-depth understanding of CPU architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and internal pay):
- Level 3: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
- Eligible for equity and company benefits.
