We are seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to join NVIDIA's team responsible for introducing GPU products across deployments ranging from data centers to edge computing. This role combines system design, technical customer engagement, and hands-on diagnostics of hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers to secure design wins.
- Establish and nurture technical relationships with engineers, management, and architects at key customer accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the CSP/OEM AI market to successfully implement NVIDIA solutions.
- Frequently travel on-site to diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges.
- Lead products through the full lifecycle from design-in to end-of-life, ensuring customer success.
- Develop technical solutions including hardware & software demos and example system designs.
- Provide technical and sales training to direct sales teams and channel partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry, particularly in system design or technical customer support roles.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills for coordinating complex projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both management and engineering teams.
Preferred / Ways to stand out
- Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, APIs, and similar embedded operating systems.
- Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing spaces.
- In-depth understanding of CPU architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (dependent on level, location and experience):
- Level 3: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD

Additional information
- Location: Austin, TX, United States. Frequent on-site customer travel required to diagnose and resolve issues.
