NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer focused on system design for AI computing. This role centers on customer technical engagement for NVIDIA GPU products across deployments from datacenter to edge. The position requires close cross-functional collaboration internally and direct technical leadership with external customers to drive design wins, support product lifecycle, and deliver hardware/software solutions and demos.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical specialist on NVIDIA GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers to secure design wins.
  • Establish and maintain technical relationships with customers' engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in CSP/OEM AI markets.
  • Provide onsite support to diagnose and solve hardware and software issues, and support deep learning inference workloads.
  • Lead product support through design-in, deployment, and end-of-life phases.
  • Create technical solutions such as hardware & software demos and example system designs.
  • Provide technical and sales training to direct sales teams and channel partners.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design or technical customer support role.
  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment and multitasking effectively across dynamic priorities.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills; strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with management and engineering.

Preferred / Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of Ethernet physical layer issues, including signal integrity and link training failures.
  • Embedded Linux system, APIs, and embedded OS knowledge.
  • Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, or ruggedized computing spaces.
  • CPU and PCIe architecture knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (for relevant levels):
    • Level 3: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD
    • Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
  • Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).
